Moore Street, Glasgow

This housing area is just at the back of our apartment. It was of modern design yet blended with the listed meat market archway. It did not look out of place at all although having a part of the old wall literally attached to the modern apartment building. One can only wish to see an attempt like this in Malaysia and how much wonder it could bring to the Malaysian Architecture. For example the BBGS or the Bok House and the recent controversial Pudu Jail. Read more about it 'here'.

Summer time picnic and barbecue

I am so in love with this idea. Click here and here. We're planning for a barbecue tomorrow and I would love to whip up something like this. We'll see if I can manage....

I did make some jarfait just like the one in the blog but my layers were less distinct and I had no time to decorate the top of the jar as I planned to. Anyway, the jarfait was a hit. Will attempt to do more back in Malaysia with nicer jars and better layering. There were tonnes of food and as always, I get sucked into eating and chit chatting that I forget to take a lot of pictures.
