Adila Zulaikha's Aqiqah
Throwback. Adila's Aqiqah was when she was 2 months plus. The theme was colourful pastels and by looking
at the photos courtesy of Azy and Abang Syahril, it has a whimsical
vintage touch to it. The weather was great and the Masjid Taman TAR's
Imam's voice was really pleasant. Adila slept peacefully throughout,
only waking up to taste her first kurma and drink her first sip of
air zam-zam.
Berpantang Bersalin di Perantauan Musim Winter dan Preparation
Dah nak masuk anak ketiga, this time preparation kena buat sendiri. Rasa macam okay sebab kena tau concept je. Yang tak dapat dielakkan tu nak buat macammana kan. Kena prepare menu untuk daddy, mummy and kakak dua orang age 5 and 2.

After reading a few blogs and based on previous pantang, summary for me is lauk-lauk yang masak letak banyak halia, lada hitam and bawang putih. Ada baca yang letak byk lengkuas. Ikan and ayam my body boleh terima, ikan pulak kat sini banyak salmon, cod, seabass and trout. Masak pulak bolehla rebus, grill, goreng dengan olive oil or sesame seed oil. Nanti la reka-reka, tak sedap pun tak pe sebab memang kena makan sikit. Sayur pulak yang tau nya cucumber and cabbage tu elakkan. Sekarang tengah winter, memang sejuk pun. So makan la brocolli, carrot, spinach, parsnip and pak choi.
So, challenge untuk berpantang in winter ni kesejukan. Kali ni tak beli set bersalin sebab rasa macam overpriced, banyak benda yang tak perlu dalam set tu. First time pakai sendayu tinggi, pil makan a bit panas so makan selang-selang. Banyak jenis lulur di beri, masa beli dulu tak la mahal sangat. Okay la, first time dulu pakai binder mama buat ala-ala zaman dulu, kain panjang lilit-lilit. Tapi nk gi toilet n duduk terseksa. Kena harapkn mama pakaikan. Kena duduk comfy sebab nak breastfeeding so time tu macam tak berapa selesa nak duduk. Lulur yang sapu kat perut and bengkung, bila kering bersepah. Lama-lama asyik skip je nak pakai.
Second try set bersalin mak dara, mama yang suruh try. Set ni jamu makan tu okay tak panas sangat. Yang mengarutnya ada botol kecik yang ada rempah campur bau cam menthol/vicks utk bau2 bagi tak pening... Tak perlu kot... Included in ada bengkung modern and tungku herba tapi it doesn't really work, tak panas and tak berat. Bengkung modern tu senang sikit nak pakai sendiri from yang traditional tapi bila pakai sendiri cepat sikit terburai bila nak ke toilet or nak duduk breast feeding.
So, untuk 3rd time, pantang sendiri di perantauan dan winter pulak tu, kenala make do dengan apa yang ada. Preparation bawak dari malaysia kali ni try nona roguy pulak, this time beli je sebotol pil makan. Lulur beli scrub kat sini. Terlupa nak bawak pil ikan haruan dan lotion panas tapi dah kirim kat mil. In the mean time makan ikan salmon and sapu minyak mastika. Bengkung pulak, sebab nak kena pakai sendiri, everyday all the time, better yang binded tapi comfy. Dah bawak all my girdles and also spanx.
Makan pulak tengah nak prepare frozen bawang-bawang etc so that bole masukkan lauk dan air. Ini idea-idea yang nak di sediakam untuk penyembuhan luka, memberi tenaga dan membanyakkan susu.

Broccoli/spinach/pakchoi masak garlic
